This is my new favorite local pizza joint in Playa del Rey.The pizza has the perfect level of cheese/toppings to sauce/bread ratio.Also, the restaurant has awesome USA gear displayed all around.Very recommended! Will come back regarly! 🇺🇲🍕

Wow. I had seen Hanks for a while but never actually went in. It is small, but the staff were incredibly friendly and the pizza (I had a deluxe) was extremely tasty. The prices were affordable and I can't wait to return.

Pastrami sandwich here is the standard I hold all other pastrami sandwiches here. 20 years plus and the Pastrami w/cheese is still my go-to.

The Cobb Salad was perfect and the garlic bread is fabulous! We took a pizza to go because my husband's work bought a bunch for the crew last week and was so impressed he had to search out where it came from, so here we are!

Very good pizza, but the place is small. First time there and enjoyed the Pesto pizza. Because of the size I'm guessing they do more take out than dine in. Their hours say they're open until 2AM and that's a big plus.

There food is crazy good. I got the large meatball sub, it was ginormous and tasty.

Solid food and superb service. Ordered the family special and it was excellent. Pizza was taking a little longer than hank expected, so he threw in two slices of cheese cake while I waited. Hank is a great guy with a stand-up local pizza and comfort food establishment. Highly recommended and the cheese cake was great.

Scheduled large order for 10:30 am adds 2 more pizzas and everything was late about 20 minutes. People sometimes don't understand what does it means SCHEDULE FOR 10:30 AM. If someone's mistake causes a headache for my business, I will look somewhere else..

Wow! Okay, so I didn’t even make it through one piece before I thought.. “I have to leave a review!” (I’m not one for reviewing either.) I just moved to the neighborhood and I haven’t had pizza in foreverrrr because everyone is just disappointing every single time. So I figured I’d treat myself and splurge a little on the calories...I have to say, This pizza is phenomenal. It’s doughy, yet crispy! Anddd they don’t skimp on the toppings. This will be my go to pizza place as long as I live in the area! But tbh... I’d probably drive here to get my fix because it’s just that good!

Food cooked to order. Very satisfied. Great fries, but I reccomend the meatball sandwich, bring a friend. It's enough for two.

One of the best pizza joints in LA! The pizza here is delicious, as are the pasta dishes, burgers, hot dogs and fries. You can also get your burgers keto-style here, which is a great plus! The owner is a really nice and friendly guy, very hands-on and it shows. They get backed up on delivery during peak hours, otherwise they're usually pretty quick. Sometimes the young white woman working at the register at nights has a bad attitude, otherwise the staff is usually pretty friendly and professional.

It is a literal hole in the wall. Blink, and you will miss it. It has 3 tables inside and a couple outside. The young man at the register was very welcoming. I had a delicious sandwich. When I asked for a sample of the spaghetti sauce, the young man placed it next to my sandwich. It was very tomatoey!! Yum!! I will be back!!

We had a great evening at this restaurant. The space is very interesting - we sat in the back room which must have been the stage of the old theater. There are a broad range of choices for vegans, vegetarians and carnivores. Interesting and unusual drinks menu and an incredible menu of beers. Highly recommended.

Hank's has been a Playa del Rey institution for as long as I remember. I ate here while in Westchester High School, and that was during the Carboniferous Era. The pizza and calzones are very good... but not the best I've ever had (that was in Eureka, Humboldt County, where you'd never expect to find THE BEST pizza in the world, but there it was), hence the 4 stars. The food is good, the service average and the location handy if you're just coming back from surfing or body surfing at Dockweiler Beach.

Just got a pie deliverd to me and pasta for my wife! We drive truck over the road and have to wait to load at airport! Though we are not in there delivery area, they made an exception and went above and beyond! Thanks guys!!! Food is excellent!!!

Great pizza abs food at a reasonable price

The pizza was really good, but so very expensive. And not to mention the prices online quoted a lower price than we were charged there. Good crust though and a nice little local spot to get a quick lazy dinner.
